DÉSIR ROSE IN 7 WORDS
Strawberry, Cherry, Watermelon, Tart, Violet, Bright, Vibrant
WINEMAKING NOTES:
Désir is a Rose made from 100% Cinsault grapes grown in "Wahluke Slopes" of our southern neighbours: Washington State. Désir (to desire) is made entirely with the “presse method”. This rosé is produced from the gently pressed juice of Cinsault grapes and entirely steel tank aged. It is a vibrant, fun, delicate wine perfect for the summer. The 2024 Désir comes in at a respectable 13% alc./vol. and presents a very pale baby pink colour (4 hours of skin maceration) along with explosive aromas of strawberry sorbet, sour cherries, watermelon and the amazingly bright and vibrant zippy quality Cinsault is known for. In sum, Sunshine is captured in a bottle.
